A window into deVOL
The design of our LA showroom all began with this window, a little glimpse into a world of handmade furniture for all the passersby on La Cienega Boulevard and the people of Los Angeles.
We wanted to create spaces that show how versatile, beautiful and easy on the eye deVOL furniture is, and the window was our moment to tell a story in just a few pieces.
Shipped across the ocean, these English cupboards instantly looked at home in the never-ending sunshine that pours through our showroom window. Leicestershire, London, Bath, New York and now Los Angeles are very proudly written in gold on the glass.
This very simple display shows a space that is quintessentially English, with its terracotta tiled floor, Dairy Table, open cupboards and delightfully organised plate racks. The walls have been covered in our Ditsy Delft Wallpaper, subtle and clean and the perfect ‘hardly there’ backdrop to the Trinity Blue cupboards and simple styling. Traditional and classic yet somehow totally new and inspirational, we love the idea of swapping our cosy English kitchens for palm trees and sunshine kitchens.
