Kitchen Designer
We are looking for people with a real passion for furniture or interior design to join our ever-growing, dynamic and experienced team of kitchen designers. deVOL has become synonymous with distinctive style and understated quality; something our designers are taught and become highly skilled in perfecting for every customer.
Your job at deVOL will involve:
- Guiding clients through the kitchen design process both in person, on the telephone, and via email throughout their project.
- Interpreting customer plans and requirements to create kitchen layouts using AutoCAD. These plans will be accompanied by a detailed quote and personal letter so proficiency with written English and good numerical skills are required.
- Working with all the deVOL designers to keep the quality of design and service impeccable for every customer.
We would love you to:
- Have the ability and confidence to chat with and advise customers in a professional and friendly way. Applicants must be able to present themselves professionally both on the telephone and in person.
- Be excellent at organising and prioritising your time.
- Have a great eye for detail, a flair for design, and a desire to create exceptional work.
Prior experience of using CAD software would be beneficial but not essential.
Metal Studio Assistant
We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual to assist our metalware department with the production and fine finishing of deVOL’s range of handcrafted kitchen and home accessories.
This junior position would suit a hands-on individual with an interest and/or experience in working with metal within a creative and upbeat workshop environment.
Your job will involve:
- Assisting with the manufacturing of a diverse range of handmade brassware products.
- Using a variety of processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Learning how to apply our wide range of patinas and living finishes.
- Processing and packing orders for our lovely customers.
We would love you to:
- Have a genuine passion for working with your hands.
- Have a good eye for detail and desire to produce high-quality craftsmanship.
- Have a strong work ethic and a keenness to learn new skills.
Some knowledge and experience with metal techniques will be beneficial however is not essential to the role as we are more than happy to provide training.

Survey & Installation Coordinator
We are looking for an applicant who is friendly and professional to assist our Project Coordinators with general administrative tasks and liaising with customers.
We are looking for a highly organised individual who is able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with our experienced Project Coordinators on a large number of projects around the country.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with customers and being a key point of contact throughout their project.
- Communicating with customers in a professional and friendly way.
- Presenting yourself professionally both on the telephone, in person and via email
- Providing administrative support to the operations team
- Arranging travel, vehicle, and accommodation requirements where necessary
- Maintaining relevant databases and spreadsheets
- Liaising with the project management and production teams
- Maintaining and inputting data on in-house systems
- Liaising with customers to confirm kitchen and delivery dates.
- Explaining what to expect from this service and offering advice on how to keep the project moving forward
- Arranging site surveys and pre-install checks with customers and internal teams
We would like you to have:
- Previous customer service experience
- An open, personable and friendly approach to dealing with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous administration experience
- Great organisational skills
- Proactive attitude
