deVOL’s LA Showroom Is Now Open!

It’s been a long time coming, but we have finally made our way to the West Coast and opened a showroom in LA! We know we say this each time, but this genuinely might be our best shop yet… Stepping through the door is like being transported to a sunny English home in the country, but with a nod to the California-cool style that we love so much. This project was a culmination of so many people’s hard work, and it’s been a real treat to have so many visitors come and see us, West Hollywood is already starting to feel like home!

We’ll do a few posts soon with more detailed room tours, but for now, here’s everything you need to know about our beautiful new location…

First, and most important, where are we?

You can find deVOL LA located at 740 N La Cienega Blvd, West Hollywood. It’s just off Melrose Place and is right in the heart of the LA Design District. It’s an area brimming with furniture shops, designer studios, antiques stores and interiors outfitters and we couldn’t think of a place better suited to our wares.

What can I see there?

We have six displays at La Cienega, showcasing cupboards from our Classic English, Heirloom, Shaker, Sebastian Cox and Haberdasher’s kitchens. We also have two of our beautiful Victorian Washstands from our bathroom range alongside a selection of pieces from our furniture collections, including tables, chairs and stools. Almost everything you see in the showroom is made by deVOL, so if it’s not vintage, it will have been crafted by a talented member of our team, from the tiles on the walls, to the lights, to the door handles…

We’ll do a more in-depth tour of each space in a future blog, but here’s a quick walk through the showroom. We start at the very front of the shop, where our Dairy Table sits between two large plate racks painted in Trinity Blue. Next, we come to our Princelet Pink kitchen, which is a mix of Heirloom and Classic English furniture. Heirloom for the sink cupboard and Butler’s Pantry, and Classic English for the cooker run and the unpainted central island.

A few steps away and the vibe is completely different… A moody Haberdasher’s bar sits pride of place with the showstopper, a polished brass worktop! Opposite this, a spot to sit at one of our vintage inspired Vineyard Tables.

Moving swiftly on past a floor-to-ceiling bank of Shaker pantry cupboards and integrated fridge and freezer, you can stop into our powder room. A little boho, a little feminine, this space is oh so cool, and it’s the first time we’ve been able to display our Sepia Lace Market Tiles!

Next up is our Shaker showroom, which features two of our new paint colours: Quaker Cream on the prep table and Folgate Green on the back run. On the other side of the room, we’ve crafted a bench seat for a relaxed dining vibe.

The final display is a beachy mix of our Haberdasher’s and Sebastian Cox cupboards, in Sheer Stocking White, Haberdasher’s Oak and Natural finishes. It feels summery and soft and very laidback in here…

Do I need an appointment to visit?

There’s no need to have an appointment if you’d just like to come and explore our different displays and get some inspiration. If you’d like to sit down with one of our Kitchen Designers and discuss a project in detail, then you will need to book in for a consultation.

How can I book an appointment?

If you have a project anywhere on the West Coast, our LA showroom is the place to go. The first thing to do is head over to the Design Service page of our website and take a read of all the information there. We’ll need things like a room plan, time scales and budget to get started, so once you have all this, pop it in an email to usa.west.enquiries@devolkitchens.com and we can set you up with a deVOL Kitchen Designer.

We’ve got a lovely team of five at the LA showroom, and they’ve already started on some incredible projects here and can’t wait for more. We’re open at 740 N La Cienega Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90069, Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
