We are looking for a confident, creative, and highly motivated Kitchen Designer to join our high-performing design team at our Bond Street showroom in New York City. This role is suited to a designer with 1-2 years of relevant experience, who is able to lead their own design projects, be confident consulting customers and delivering exceptional kitchen designs from the beginning and throughout the process.
deVOL Kitchens is known for its distinctive style and thoughtful approach to design. Our designers are trained to ensure every customer receives a highly considered and a personal experience throughout the design process. As a Kitchen Designer, you will be expected to quickly immerse yourself in our design principles, furniture styles, and product knowledge, to enable you to confidently represent the brand.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Leading customer consultations and design meetings in the showroom and via Zoom/Teams calls, guiding clients through the full design process
- Interpreting customers room plans and requirements to create thoughtful kitchen layouts using DraftSight (or similar CAD software)
- Preparing detailed and accurate kitchen quotations using Microsoft Excel
- Managing your own base of customer projects from initial inquiry and throughout the process
- Working closely with the UK-based project management and production teams to progress kitchens from approved designs into manufacture
- Meeting and greeting clients in the showroom, and answering and directing phone calls and email enquiries
- Contributing to a beautifully presented showroom and maintaining a professional, well-organised working environment
We Would Love You To:
- Have 1–2 years of experience in kitchen design or a closely related design-based role. Ideally combined with a degree in furniture/product design, interior design, interior architecture, or a related design discipline
- Demonstrate a strong passion for interiors and kitchen design, with pride in producing high-quality, considered work
- Be confident leading client conversations and managing multiple projects at the same time
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong numerical ability and confidence preparing clear written correspondence and accurate quotations
- Be comfortable learning and adapting quickly to new systems, processes, and product ranges
- Have good experience using CAD software (DraftSight, AutoCAD, or similar), Microsoft suite (and/or similar packages), and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Enjoy working in a team-based environment, while taking ownership of your own individual workload
This is a full-time role, based at our Bond Street Showroom. For the right candidate, compensation will range from $70,000–$80,000 per year, depending on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a creative, organised individual with a genuine passion for design and interiors to join our high-performing design team at our Bond Street showroom in New York City. This is a junior, supportive role suited to someone at the beginning of their design career who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and play an integral part in creating beautiful designs for our customers in the distinctive style that deVOL is known for. You will work closely with our Senior Designers and Managers, offering assistance across every stage of the kitchen design and ordering process.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Drawing up customer room plans and creating kitchen layouts using our 2D CAD software (DraftSight), under the supervision of a Kitchen Designer
- Assisting Senior Designers throughout the full kitchen design process
- Being involved in customer design meetings and assisting with ongoing design work
- Preparing detailed kitchen quotations using Microsoft Excel
- Assisting with the internal processing of kitchen orders in line with company processes
- Meeting and greeting clients in the showroom, and answering and directing telephone and email enquiries
- Working closely with the wider UK design and project management teams to ensure the highest standards of design and customer service are offered and met on each project
- Contributing to a beautifully presented showroom and maintaining a professional, well-organised working environment
We Would Love You To:
- Have a degree in furniture/product design, interior design, interior architecture, or a related design discipline
- Have a strong interest in interiors and kitchen design, showing pride in producing high-quality designs

At deVOL, we design and make beautiful kitchens with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and personable Design Coordinator to join our team at our Bond Street showroom in New York.
As the first point of contact for our customers, this role is key to the smooth running of our design service, from a customer's initial enquiry through to the start of their kitchen project. Working closely with an experienced team of designers, you'll be responsible for coordinating appointments, preparing and sending estimates, collecting key project information, supporting the smooth running of the showroom and day-to-day operations, and liaising with our UK-based teams to ensure projects progress seamlessly.
We are looking for someone who is confident in communicating with customers, highly organised, and able to manage a high workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. There will also be an element of office-based administrative support, including ensuring the office is well stocked with supplies. Reporting to the Showroom Manager and the US Sales Director, you'll play an important role in helping keep the showroom and design service running efficiently and ensuring customers receive the high end experience that deVOL is known for.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Coordinating customer appointments and acting as the main point of contact between customers and the design team throughout the early stages of each project.
- Guiding customers through the deVOL design process, and discussing our different furniture styles, products and offerings.
- Preparing initial budget estimates to help customers understand anticipated project costs.
- Preparing customer folders, paperwork, estimated project costs, and collecting key project information to support the designers preparation ahead of design meetings.
- Collecting design fees where applicable, and ensuring all project information is collected before design work begins.
- Responding to customer enquiries by email, telephone, and in person, providing the best level of customer service at every stage.
- Welcoming customers to the showroom, conducting showroom tours, and confidently presenting deVOL furniture, accessories, and discussing our design services.
- Maintaining accurate customer records, monitoring enquiries and customer conversions, and ensuring project information is kept up to date.
- Monitoring office supplies and samples, ensuring everything is well organised and stock levels are well maintained.
- Working closely with colleagues in both New York and the UK to ensure projects run as smoothly as possible.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the showroom by helping the team keep customer areas, offices, and the staff kitchen organised, well stocked, and presented to the highest standard.
We would like you to have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in coordination, admin, logistics, ideally within a customer-facing environment.
- An ability to confidently use Microsoft Excel, Word, and similar alternatives (Google Sheets etc).
- A team player who’s reliable and enjoys working collaboratively.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with good attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach
- An open, personable, friendly approach and confidence when meeting customers. Any previous customer facing experience would be looked at favourably.
- An interest in interior or kitchen design is a plus
