Slate Blue Pottery

This collection is thrown using our own blend of blue-grey stoneware clay which is mixed by hand at Cotes Mill. A finely grogged white clay is combined with cobalt carbonate and water before it is dried, wedged and prepped for throwing. The bisque-fired pieces are then dipped in a matt white glaze which perfectly complements the blue clay body.
