Inspired by the undergrounds and subways of London and New York, these large-format tiles are smooth and regular in shape and size. We love the gentle nuances of tone found across these historic tiled spaces, and so we developed our tiles with four subtle but distinct glazes to recreate that understated variety of colour.
These tiles work beautifully when used on large areas, you can even take them all the way to the floor and replace your skirting boards with our skirting tiles. The size and colour are reminiscent of public spaces and below-stairs kitchens and will help you achieve an authentic, almost utilitarian look.
Our border tiles add a final and substantial element to the look of the subway range, they add texture, depth and the perfect finish to a run of tiles. Moulded to a soft curve, these tiles create much more of a feature and also solve the ever-present dilemma of ‘how to finish off a run of tiles’ - the answer being, in a very satisfying way.

These tiles are made using an earthenware compressed powder clay and are glazed with a variety of beautifully glossy cream tones.
We recommend laying these tiles in a traditional brick bond pattern with either an off-white or dark grey grout.
When calculating the number of tiles needed for your project, please allow an additional 10% for any off-cuts, breakages and waste. Grout and adhesive are available to order here
Please be aware that crazing, a network of fine cracks on the surface of ceramics, may occur due to the nature of the materials and firing process. This is considered a characteristic feature and not a defect.
Delivery
Your tile order will be delivered straight to your front door in manageable-sized boxes. Delivery charges are determined by an order's weight and this will be calculated automatically in the checkout.
Sample packs are subject to the following delivery charges:

All items are sent from our UK workshops. Deliveries are made via a reliable tracked service and should arrive within 2-4 working days. Orders will be dispatched only when all items are ready, if you wish to receive individual items as soon as possible, please consider placing them as separate orders.

Returns
This item is eligible for return within 28 days of delivery.
Please be aware that tile sample packs are not eligible for returns.
Any items returned to us in the condition in which they were sent will be refunded in full, excluding any delivery fees and a 10% restocking fee.
We are unable to cover any return postage costs, or any loss or breakages that occur during the return process. We therefore recommend that returns are made using the original packaging with a tracked, insured and signed-for service.
