Lidham Hill Farm
Nestled in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, Lidham Hill Farm has been renovated and styled to create an idyllic family home that also doubles as an amazing photoshoot location and holiday retreat. Down a winding country road, this grand old house is tucked away behind some beautiful wrought iron gates and is home to two lovely deVOL Shaker Kitchens and a little Utility Room too. The first kitchen was painted in ‘Mushroom’ with a mix of staved Oak and honed Carrara marble worktops. It sat in the main house amongst an eclectic selection of incredible vintage pieces, modern art mixed with taxidermy, beautifully original and softly worn stone floors, brightly coloured fabrics and antiquarian books and maps.
Tucked away in the little holiday barn was the second kitchen. A simple L-shaped run and only a single shaker shelf running along the back wall made the most of the space and the beautiful exposed beams and high ceilings. The Shaker cupboards were painted in 'Pantry Blue' with oiled Oak worktops and 'Bella Brass' hardware, a classic combination. Its simplicity made the space feel contemporary, yet still beautifully suited to the original building that it sat in, an old cow shed.
