On the long drive up the M1 I decided to pull over at the Yorkshire Sculpture park. I had never been before and was impressed by the park, sculptures and how detached you felt from the M1, which is surprisingly close. The park is free to visit with \u00a37.50 for all day parking. There is a lot to see and unfortunately I only managed to see a fraction of what is available, although it means I will definitely be going back. There is a great exhibition of sculpture by Joan Mir\u00f3, one of Europe\u2019s most important 20th century artists.
