Our beautiful <a href=\"\/kitchens\/sebastian-cox-kitchen-by-devol\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sebastian Cox Kitchen<\/a>, which we created in collaboration with the very talented <a href=\"http:\/\/sebastiancox.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sebastian Cox<\/a>, has made the shortlist in their \u2018Kitchen Designer\u2019 category.<\/p>\n<p>This is such big deal for us, to know that something we have worked so hard on and a kitchen that we love so much has been nominated for such a prestigious award, not to mention\u00a0recognised and appreciated by some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry,\u00a0makes us very happy.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"sharer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10808\" src=\"\/\/www.devolkitchens.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/deVOL-SebastianCox-Awards-7.jpg\" alt=\"deVOL-SebastianCox-Awards-7\" width=\"600\" height=\"899\" \/><ul id=\"socialshare\"><!--<li class=\"fb\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/dialog\/share?app_id=688330137993706&display=popup&href=https:\/\/www.devolkitchens.com\/blog\/a-very-special-nomination?img=\/\/www.devolkitchens.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/deVOL-SebastianCox-Awards-7.jpg\"><\/a><\/li><li class=\"tw\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?url=https:\/\/www.devolkitchens.com\/blog\/a-very-special-nomination&text=A very special nomination\"><\/a><li>--><li class=\"pt\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/create\/button?&url=https:\/\/www.devolkitchens.com\/blog\/a-very-special-nomination&media=\/\/www.devolkitchens.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/deVOL-SebastianCox-Awards-7.jpg\"><\/a><li><\/ul><\/div><\/p>\n<p>The Homes &amp; Gardens Awards\u00a0are all about recognising designers and designer collaborations, and we feel our collaboration with Sebastian Cox is the epitome of a true, organic and very real one. <a href=\"\/kitchens\/sebastian-cox-kitchen-by-devol\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Sebastian Cox Kitchen by deVOL<\/a> kind of happened by chance I guess, it wasn&#8217;t planned, it just happened and it felt right.\u00a0There seemed no reason for us to introduce another designer into the mix or another\u00a0kitchen\u00a0range for that matter, that was, until we met Sebastian. It was a slow and gentle journey from the first meeting to the finished \u2018Sebastian\u00a0Cox\u00a0Kitchen\u2019, beginning as an introduction from our graphic designer who went to University with Sebastian over 4 years ago. It started as a friendship and mutual appreciation for beautiful British design and it gradually became what we now call a collaboration. And we are keeping our fingers tightly crossed for the results, which will be announced at a London ceremony on March 1st.
