Heatherwick studio spent 18 years finding a way of creating this once\u00a0piece\u00a0extruded\u00a0bench, which needed an aluminium\u00a0extruder big enough and tough enough to exert\u00a010,000 tons of pressure. Like a squeezed tube of toothpaste the start and end are often misshapen.
